The Noble Source presents the 2016 Heritage Port Summer Solstice Celebration!
The Heritage Port is often called ‘The Water Front’ in Wheeling, beside the Ohio River.
The first day of Summer is the longest day of the year and we want you all there to join us in ‘Saluting the Sun’. Midsummer’s Day, also known as Litha, is June 19th and has been celebrated by mankind throughout the ages.
This year we are lucky enough to celebrate it on Father’s Day as well! Bring your dads and come to the Heritage Port in downtown Wheeling, West Virginia all day from 10 am to 10 pm for live music, crafts, food, and more!

The Noble Source presents a brand new summer festival known as The 2015 Heritage Port Summer Solstice Celebration! The first day of Summer is the longest day of the year and we want you all there to join us in ‘Saluting the Sun’. Midsummer’s Day is also known as Litha, and falls on June 21st. This historic holiday has been celebrated and revered by mankind throughout the ages. Come to the Heritage Port in downtown Wheeling, West Virginia all day from 10 am to 10 pm for live music, crafts, food, and more!
Our plan is to open our festival up to any and all vendors that can pay $50.00 for 10’x10’ retail space. In addition, we expect multiple sponsors to contribute additional funding to advertise at our event. Entry for this event will be free to the public in light of the fact that this is a brand new venture.
Although any vendor will be able to participate, specific organizations which promote Pagan based spirituality will be invited and encouraged to attend. A schedule of mystically oriented events including drum circles, reenactments, chants, dances and ritualistic ceremonies will take place throughout the day as well. So come join us on the first day of summer to salute the sun!
